Covid-18 Up-date

The NHS will be overwhelmed within weeks without a national lockdown in England, Boris Johnson warned, as he ordered the country to stay at home in a bid to reverse the spread of coronavirus.

MPs will vote on the new measures before they are introduced at 0001 on Thursday, and when they lapse on December 2, the current tier system will be reintroduced.

The hope is that Covid-19 cases will drop low enough to keep on top of outbreaks at a regional level.

In a Downing Street press conference, Mr Johnson said “no responsible Prime Minister can ignore” the rising rates of Covid-19 infections as he announced the lockdown.

He said “we need to be humble in the face of nature”, adding that the virus was spreading even faster than the worst case scenario envisaged by scientists.

Objectives of Noor TV is presenting the good Islamic entertainment & knowledge based programmes to educate and conveying the peaceful Islamic values to the communities across the globe. Our programmes include Tasawwuf, Islamic Question & Answers programmes, Tafseer e Quran & Hadith, Seerah Programmes, news, Islamic personalities documentaries, Islamic entertainment drammas as well as renowned live Masnavi Lectures and various other programmes promoting peace, love and harmony.

Noor TV aims to attract a larger number of audiences. The channel aims provides a mixture of drama, documentary, entertainment and talk shows.

Broadcasting with Covid-19

The Directors and staff ask the Viewership, to be understanding through these troubling times.  Noor TV are running a skeleton crew; staff are working from home where possible and are keeping Covid-19 safe practices.

Noor TV has made changing to programmes; we have had to make restriction on participants & we have limited the numbers who come into the Noor TV Studio. Provision have been made for other Presenters to join via Zoom. Although It’s not flawless, depends with speaker’s broadband keeping stable. Especially challenging is live broadcasting, where a presenter is delivering a speech, along with video inserts, graphics and even a Q&A. Viewers may experience delays in transmission for which we apologise as this is outside of our commitment.

We ask Noor TV presenters and visitors, to restrict themselves to a maximum of two and to get permission before coming to the studio.
